We started with a simple idea: South Florida grows some of the most extraordinary tropical fruit in the country, and most people never get to taste it.
Our Story
The Coconut Stand was born on Singer Island, a barrier island off the coast of Palm Beach County where coconut palms line the streets and backyard fruit trees are a way of life. We grew up eating fruit that most grocery stores have never heard of — mamey sapote, sugar apple, canistel, black sapote — and we wanted to share that with the rest of the country.
We built relationships with small South Florida farms and growers who care about what they grow and how they grow it. Every farm partner we work with harvests at peak ripeness, not weeks early for long-haul transport. That's the difference you taste.
Our tagline — "Giving back one coconut at a time" — reflects a real commitment. A portion of every order supports local South Florida agricultural initiatives and the growers who keep this region's fruit culture alive.
Farm-Direct
We source directly from South Florida farms, cutting out the middlemen who force early harvests and long cold storage.
Seasonal Honesty
We only ship what's actually in season. If a variety isn't ready, it doesn't go in the box — no exceptions.
Hand-Selected
Every piece of fruit is inspected before packing. We'd rather ship a smaller box than a full one with subpar fruit.
